On a recent visit to Papua New Guinea I was shown your publication...There are few architecture journals with worthwhile contents, and I'm very pleased to have discovered yours.

The Danish architect Hanne Kjærholm is known for her long-standing collaboration with her husband, furniture designer Poul Kjærholm, on their own famous house in Rungsted, where she designed the house and he did the interiors and furniture.
With HANNE KJÆRHOLM HOUSES, Living Architecture presents for the first time – in 350 colour photos – the many outstanding houses that Hanne Kjærholm has designed.
Hanne Kjærholm’s houses are based on the world-known Scandinavian tradition for simplicity and functionalism combined with the use of natural materials, distinctive constructions and an exquisite wealth of details.
Furthermore, her architecture contains a hard to define but ever present element of the finest poetry and a sensitivity, which makes her work exceptional.
Both the single-family homes and summerhouses are furnished with a rich selection of well-known classic Danish quality furniture designed by legends such as Poul Kjærholm, Finn Juhl, Hans
J. Wegner, Arne Jacobsen and Kaare Klint.
